(Up until today, I carried a portable CD player everywhere I went to listen to music.)
(The man sitting next to me on my 11-hour flight to Hawaii said to me when we landed,
"I have to ask you, why a CD player?" Like I had to be making some social-political statement for being with my CD player in public.)
